The Weekly Creative #6

Welcome to week 6 of The Weekly Creative! I hope everyone had a nice weekend and I hope anyone in the path of "Hurricane Sandy" is hunkered down and prepared for the storm. We have a few bags of ice, some candles/flashlights, and we're just hoping our sump pump can keep up with all of the rain. fabric tutu

My niece, Sadie, was in desperate need of a fabric tutu...Who isn't? They're just so cute! I saw a lot of different tutorials online, but I just ended up doing it my own way. I wanted a lot of little strips with fun colors and patterns and I think it turned out pretty cute. Look at her adorable little face...she liked it! :)

I recently attended a party that had sweater pumpkins as part of their table displays. I WAS IN LOVE. I knew that they couldn't be hard to make, so I went to our nearest Salvation Army in hopes of finding a perfect sweater. Here is what I came up with...

I can't believe we're already onto week 5 of The Weekly Creative! I really appreciate each and every one of you that take the time to link up each week. It has been so fun seeing what everyone is creating and I enjoy browsing through the links all week. [1] This adorable crochet mug cozy from Practically Functional got me really excited for the cool weather to come. My go-to is earl grey tea :) Yum!

[2] This fall leaf bowl from Better Organized Living is the perfect addition to any table display. I'm a sucker for anything "tree related" and this bowl is just gorgeous & simple. [3] These chocolate peanut butter balls by The Dedicated House look absolutely delicious. I don't know about you...but chocolate + peanut butter = my weakness. Also, my great grandmother used to make these around Christmas time so they make me think of her :)
