gift tags ::part 1::

I thought I'd give a try at making some homemade gift tags. I figured if I wanted to prepare for upcoming birthdays and Christmas, I better start now. They're easy to make and fun to personalize and are perfect for any gift:

Here is what you'll need to make your own:


card stock or scrap cardboard
letter stencil
twine
hole punch
markers/pens/etc.
paper cutter or scissors
rubber stamps (optional)

[1] trace template onto card stock and cut out tag.
Punch a hold for the twine to be attached to later on.



[2] using your letter stencil, draw a word or phrase onto your little gift tag.
Decorate your own way and add a piece of twine.
You're done!


This is simple project to help you personalize any gift - plus, it's practically free if you have all of this stuff on hand from other projects.
